Zagreb Boat Show was inaugurated by the Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Mr. Tomislav Tomašević: “I am proud that this fair not only continues to grow but is getting stronger and more prestigious. Zagreb is the business center of Croatia, and we have shipbuilders in Zagreb and the surrounding area, which is why I am glad that the Zagreb Boat Show is held in Zagreb. It is not only the largest boat show in Croatia but also one of the strongest in this part of Europe. What particularly pleases me is that we will see all the new trends in nautical industry here, all the innovations and technological changes that all exhibitors are featuring.” Mayor Tomašević expressed his satisfaction with even 22 Croatian premieres and invited everyone to visit Zagreb Fair by Sunday.

“Zagreb Boat Show is a combination of passion for the sea, innovation and business opportunities. For years, this fair has been confirming its status as the leading business fair in the region, and the continuous support of the shipbuilding sector testifies to its strength and relevance. The quality of domestic shipbuilding is once again coming to the fore, side by side with leading global brands. Our shipbuilders are visionaries who embody true dedication to the sea. Because whoever understands the sea, understands patience, courage and freedom. It is precisely these values that are woven into every new construction and design, making Croatian shipbuilding recognizable and appreciated in the nautical world,” said Zagreb Fair Director, Mrs. Renata Suša at the official opening ceremony.

Josip Bilaver, State Secretary at the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, addressed the attendees: "There are few areas in which we as a country can truly claim that we are at the forefront, that we are world leaders, but in the field of charter vessels, specifically within the charter fleet, we are ranked first in the world. I would like to especially congratulate the manufacturers, charter agencies, representatives of marinas and all those representing the entire nautical sector in Croatia. I also congratulate you on the remarkable achievement of 22 Croatian premieres, as this represents a significant contribution to the development of the entire Croatian economy.“
