United in this way, we expect more than 25,000 visitors, and we invite you to be part of the most important autumn business event in the region.
History of Ambienta
Simultaneously with the organization of the Zagreb International Autumn and Spring Fairs, in 1969 Zagreb Fair started organizing specialized fair events, which were held once a year and some biennially, every two years. Soon, there were twenty specialized fairs per year. The best evidence of their quality, size and good organization is the fact that very soon a dozen of fairs attained the status of an UFI event - an internationally recognized fair that meets high standards and criteria regarding the content, scope and manner of presentation set by the International Union of Fairs (UFI).
From 1972 to 1987, Ambienta was held within the scope of the International Spring Fair, from 1988 to 1990 it was separated as an independent furniture fair held in May, in 1991 it took place as part of the International Spring Fair and since 1992 it has been constantly organized within a separate term in October.
Since 1983 AMBIENTA has been carrying this name. That same year, as part of the Spring Fair, Ambienta featured a dozen of furnished sample apartments in the China Pavilion. In the fall, the presentation of the Mobil Optimum award, quality recognition for products with the highest ratings and for the entire marketing appearance, was introduced.
