Ambienta, the 51st International Furniture, Interior Decoration and Supporting Industry Fair, will take place at Zagreb Fair from 17 - 20 October.

During four days, Ambienta will gather all key stakeholders from the wood and furniture industries - manufacturers, designers, businesspeople and end customers - under a single roof, thus creating the opportunity to discover the latest trends that are redefining contemporary interior design and changing the way we think about decoration of spaces.

Ambienta offers a comprehensive overview of the latest trends and technologies in home and business space furnishing. A wide range of products made by renowned manufacturers from all segments of home furnishing will be featured in one place: furniture, kitchen, bathroom, lighting, parquet floors, decorations, windows, doors, small household appliances and garden furniture.

This year, in addition to the partnership with the renowned brand Powered by MEBLO Trade, Ambienta features a series of carefully developed thematic units. Design Zone will highlight designer furniture and products from top companies, while the Art Box will bring together artists, gallerists and collectors.

More than 150 exhibitors from 16 countries will present their products and services at an exhibition area of 9,000 m² in the pavilions 7, 7A, 8, 8A, 9 and at the open-air space.

This year's Ambienta will be supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, the City of Zagreb, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Zagreb Chamber of Trades and Crafts, and Hrvatske šume (Croatian Forests), further emphasizing its significance for the economy and industry.

Elite Exhibitors at Ambienta

We wish to highlight the appearance of Meblo Trade, which is making its grand comeback to Ambienta after 15 years. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore their rich offer that puts special emphasis on the brands Atlas and KARE. KARE, known for the motto 'Joy of Living,' masterfully combines remarkable furniture design with eccentric decorative elements, like no other brand.
 
Ambienta will also host recognized brands like Spin Valis, Nord Produkt, Škerjanc, Il Leor, Rattan Sedia, Interijer Color, Chesterfield, Gastro-Stil, Belina, Concept Line, Domprojekt, IKS Fenster, Interijeri Sabljo, Pohištvo Leroy, Lokve, T.C. Požgaj, Weninox, Top2Floor, Tvornica tekstila Trgovišće, Wespa Spaces, Duma Store, Top Door interijeri, Partas, Studio Element, Style Door, Texo, Infitout and many others, whose innovative products are conquering markets around the world.

Among foreign participants we wish to emphasize the group participation of exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the participation of six Chinese exhibitors.

In the pavilion 7 there will be an outlet sale of Dormeo home products until 24 October 2024.

New Attractions - Art and Exclusive Exhibitions

We are proud to announce an innovative project - Ambienta&Museums. In cooperation with the Klovićevi dvori Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Ethnographic Museum, this project combines the fair brand with rich cultural heritage of Croatia through the prism of contemporary design. The showroom of furniture will be set up in the foyers of museums (Meblo - Museum of Contemporary Arts and Il Leor - Klovićevi dvori), while the Museum of Contemporary Arts will also show a documentary about Zagreb Fair from the famous "Modern Times” series.

A special privilege is a single ticket that enables visiting Ambienta and exhibitions in one of three Zagreb museums.

Another novelty is the Large Format Exhibition - 100 Painters of the 21^st Century, which will be put on in the pavilion 8. This never-before-seen private collection of large-format paintings by 100 Croatian visual artists of this century, selected from the collection of the art promoter and collector Zoran Bručić, PhD, will be presented to the public for the first time. The works were created in oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas and mixed techniques. Alongside the exhibition, there will be a musical programme including the 'Gong Sound Rhapsody in Honour of Ambienta', performed by Silvana Leskovar and Mirjana Maksimović, and the appearance of the pianist Ivan Škreblin.

In the pavilion 7A there will be the exhibition titled: ”Zagreb Fair 1956 - 1961: The Social, Economic, (Geo)Political and Spatial Impetus for the Development of a Socialist City“, which explores the development of Zagreb through the economic, political and social prism of that period.

Different panels, round tables, lectures and presentations will take place daily on the stage in the pavilion 8. We wish to single out: round table “New Law - What is Changing in our Buildings“, and  the lectures: “Multi-Apartment Buildings: Old Problems and New Energy-Efficient Solutions”, "How Designers (Around the World) Create Furniture and Spaces in an Eco-Friendly Way? Nature Is Inspiration for Designers!" and “Multi-Apartment Buildings: Old Problems and New Energy-Efficient Solutions”.

ArhiBau

ArhiBau, one of the largest fairs of construction culture and sustainable development in the region, will be held in parallel, bringing together the leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, materials and solutions in architecture and construction.

We wish to highlight the expert and scientific conference ArhiBau 2024 - “The Future of Housing” that will assemble domestic and international architects, urban planners, builders and other professionals interested in the roles that architecture will play in shaping our world.
 
Rich prize game for visitors

All visitors to buy a ticket will be able to take part in a prize game.

Among attractive prizes the main prize will be furnishing a home with Meblo Trade furniture worth EUR 7,000. Moreover, you can expect designer furniture pieces, decorations, valuable appliances, a kitchen furnishing project, graphics featuring motifs of Zagreb, interior design paints, subscriptions to home decor magazines…

The official opening will be held on 17 October 2024 at 10.30 h in the pavilion 11A of Zagreb Fair.
